All of our guys usually come to us dreading taking their senior pictures (so if that's how your son feels, he's in good company) and feeling uncomfortable about the experience itself, but before the session starts, we explain to them what to expect and they are ready to have some fun!  Most of the time I can get them to do the things you have been stressing over with a simple "photographer" ask! 

And after their session, they walk away quietly having loved every second of it and can't wait to get them back to show off their awesome images to all of their friends too!...  How do we know, because their moms (like you) have told us time and time again that their sons keep asking when will they get their senior pictures back as soon as we take them!...
